WE WERE SOLDIER is an action movie based n true story. Was on 1964 - 1965 at La Drang Valley / Death valley, Vietnam. Col Hal Moore (Mel Gibson) ordered to grabs Death Valley from Vietkong. 400 soldiers under his leadership have to battle with more than 4000 vietkong there. This is like killing self mission.
